CUHK Jockey Club Institute of Ageing has received funding from the Elderly Commission to set up an “Elder Academy” at CUHK which enables elders to participate in diverse activities and experience learning in a campus environment, encourages elders life-long learning, and fosters inter-generational harmony to facilitate the well-being of the elderly. The Academy organises evidence-based courses around the theme of healthy ageing, and through various activities such as talks, outdoor trips, activities, food and nutrition, to equip participants for a flourshing later life.
