Multi-Component Intervention Programme
To enable older people to live and age healthily, the CUHK Jockey Club Institute of Ageing designed the “Multi-Component Intervention Programme” to build and maintain older people’s intrinsic capacity, as well as to help them prevent frailty.
As part of the of the Multi-Component Intervention Programme, the following video introduces a set of full-body exercises called the “Ten Essentials”, which was designed to train older people’s upper, core, and lower body muscles, thereby improving their muscle mass and physical performance.
